ORIGIN Softball is a new travel softball club north of Atlanta. Before the first announcement lands here, this is the founding record, where the club came from and why it exists at all.
My name is Andy Hise, and I'm the founder. I'm building this for my daughter and her love of the game. All of it is for my daughters. They are all athletes. This club is for the one who loves softball, and everything else has grown from watching her work. The early mornings, the bucket of balls, the way a hard thing becomes hers one rep at a time. A parent learns something watching that. You stop wanting shortcuts for your kid. You start wanting a place worthy of her effort.
ORIGIN did not start with a roster. It started with a curriculum. In December 2025 there was no club and no plan for one. There was one athlete and one question. How do you build a better player on purpose? The answer became a working curriculum. Specialized catching tests. Step by step development ladders. Honest gear evaluations. Numbers written down and checked against the work.
One solved problem kept exposing the next. Mechanics led to measurement. Measurement led to decision making and the mental side of the game. And underneath every page of it ran the same rule, there from the first notebook. The work is the point, and the player who does the work gets protected and built, mind and body alike.
Measurement taught its own lesson too. The number that matters most is not where a player stands today. It is the line from where she was to where she is now. Her own slope, against her own ceiling. That is the whole philosophy in one sentence, and it is why every ORIGIN program begins by honoring where a player starts.
In May 2026 that answer went into full time development, and the club found its home at origin.club. This summer the structure was made permanent, with ORIGIN Softball LLC, a Georgia company, running the club's operations.
ORIGIN was not designed around winning a tournament. It was designed around building players who can win for years, and it holds one line from the start. This is something you are part of, not something you buy.
