ORIGIN Fastpitch

An ORIGIN core program

ORIGIN Guard.

The body, protected.

Fastpitch asks a lot of a young body, and the windmill asks the most of all. Guard is the promise underneath every rep.

The sport has no industry rule protecting a pitcher's arm, so ORIGIN wrote its own. How much a player throws is watched. Rest is scheduled by rule, not by the scoreboard. Pain gets a safe way to speak, and the adults listen. And when she is coming back from an injury, her parents and her doctors lead, the club follows their pace, and a head injury gets all the time it needs.

Built for the long game.

Ten years from now she should still love throwing. That is the whole design brief.

Movement screening happens each cycle, education comes home in plain language, and big tournament weekends are planned with her arm in mind instead of survived.

What it's built on.

The load

How much a player throws is watched and managed. Big weekends are planned with her arm in mind.

The rest

Multi-game days are governed by rule. Recovery is scheduled like practice, because it is practice.

The report

Pain gets a safe way to speak here, and a player telling the truth about her body is treated as helping the team.

The return

Coming back means coming back strong. Her parents and her doctors lead that call, and the club follows with patience, a plan to build back, and zero pressure to rush.

Nobody earns anything by hurting. The work is the point, and the athlete gets protected.

The standard behind it.

Guard anchors to the college game's published safety consensus, the same playbook every university program runs, and its specific limits are set with sports-medicine review rather than invented to look complete.

She brings the love and the work. Guard makes sure the work never costs her the love.
