ORIGIN took the field for the first time Monday night at Seckinger High School in Buford. Practice ran 7-9 p.m., all of it under the lights.
Two athletes came out with their families, and coach Andy Hise ran the practice.
The night was never announced. It was for meeting the field.
Two hours of warm-ups and dailies, infield work, pop flies, footwork, communication, tee work and base running. Then they called it a night.
Next week the invitations go wider. ORIGIN will practice on this field every week of the spring 2027 season.
