An ORIGIN core program
The game pillar’s core program.
Craft is the club’s daily work, and it never stops.
Skill, softball IQ, position mastery, and execution, built rep by rep inside the standard. The game she plays, taught position by position, and the thinking that ties it all together. Craft is what ORIGIN deliberately builds in a player, and it is never finished.
Craft cannot be handed to a player. It can only be done.
A rep counts when it is honest. A skill counts when it holds under a full count. Craft is built to leave a player better than she arrived, season after season, and it is the reason the work never gets old. There is always a next thing to build.
The rep is the unit of everything. Skill, softball IQ, and position mastery grow one honest rep at a time, and the player who keeps count of her own work owns her own improvement.
The work is taught in progressions, position by position, so a practice plan reads like a curriculum and every player knows what she is building this week.
Dense by design. Stations run, reps stack, and the time on dirt goes to the work. Built so she leaves tired and better, in that order.
Execution is craft under a count. The swing she built on Tuesday is the one that shows up Saturday, and the game is where the work gets its answer.
The whole secret. The daily work compounds.
Do the work.
